How scoring works

Two factors: how short your chain is, and how rare the bridge players are.
Steps
Number of links from Start to End. Minimum is 2 (start → bridge → end).
Efficiency
1000 ÷ steps^1.4
Fewer hops = higher score. 2 steps gives ~378, 3 gives ~214, 4 gives ~144.
Rarity
20 − distinct seasons played
Each bridge player adds points based on career length. A 5-year journeyman gives 15; a 20-year vet gives 0–1.
Final score
efficiency + (rarity × 25)
Rarity is heavily weighted — a deep-bench connector usually beats a famous one.

How to play

Connect the Start player to the End player through NBA teammates.
The rule
Each link must be two players who were on the same team in the same season. No exceptions.
Building your chain
Type a player name to search, then add them one at a time between Start and End. When you're ready, click Check chain.
Scoring
Shorter chains score higher. Using obscure, short-career players adds rarity bonus points. Click Scoring in the nav for the full breakdown.
Difficulty
Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard from the nav. Each has its own daily puzzle and streak — harder pairs require more hops and more obscure connections.
